"A YEAR OF YOU by Adra Steia is a phenomenal read. This book will grab you and not let go. I read this story as fast as I could and kept craving more. Let me tell you, if you’re the flowers and hearts type, this isn’t the story for you. If you like a real life and a somewhat dark read this book will keep you hooked. I knew right from the start that Mattie was going to have a hell of a time getting the money that she desperately needed to keep her loved ones safe, but the twists and turns Ms. Steia put in this book were beyond my imagination. As you read along and see the ups and downs that Mattie experiences you feel the need to jump in and back her up. The passion and hatred in this book makes it so much more believable. I was impressed by Mattie’s trials in life and West’s attempts to get over the little girl he lost so long ago. With an evil step-brother after Mattie there is never a dull moment. I hope I get to read more stories from Ms. Steia in the future."
