My name is Adra Steia. I write horror novels! If you're a fan of Richard Laymon, Dean Koontz, and Stephen King, you'll enjoy my work. They and many other authors have inspired me over the years so my books are all tributes to them, in lots of little ways.

I hope you'll pick up one of my novels, in print or e-format. My books aren't for the faint of heart, nor the weak of stomach. I write in a man's genre with a woman's heart--but that doesn't mean you won't get your money's worth when you read one of my books! Although some of my books have strong romantic elements, I don't water down the heart-stopping elements with fluff and mushy-gushy goo. One of the scariest things in life is losing someone who is loved deeply...and I exploit that fear to the utmost.

As dark as my books are, there is always a thread of hope. There is always a single beam of light in the story, even there isn't a happy ending. I can't guarantee you a happily-ever-after. If that's what your after, I suggest you go buy a Harlequin romance instead. ;-). If you're looking for sunshine and fluffy puppies...these aren't the books for you.
